In-depth and interactive exhibits draw you in, while stunning visuals and audio tell the tale of this magical island. Constructed completely within the existing footprint of the historic stables building, the design highlights the building’s construction with high lofted ceilings and open space.

Georgia Sea Turtle Center

Georgia’s only sea turtle education and rehabilitation facility. The Center offers the public a chance to learn about sea turtles and see rehabilitation in action with a host of interactive exhibits and experiences. Year-round indoor and outdoor programs are also available for guests of all ages.

Wildlife Program

Jekyll Island is a place where nature and humanity peacefully co-exist. The most accessible of Georgia’s protected barrier islands, the majority of Jekyll remains in a natural state, and development is tightly limited to preserve the balance.

History Programs

Mosaic, Jekyll Island Museum, offers a variety of tours for the whole family. Take a guided tour and step back in time as each historic building’s story unfolds, and the Jekyll Island Club and the National Landmark Historic District come alive.

Jekyll Island Golf Club

The history, the challenges, the serenity and the courses – these are the things that go into making golf “the greatest game there is.” Jekyll Island has a tradition of inspiring some of golf’s greatest stories and living up to expectations.

Tennis

Nestled under live oaks draped with moss and surrounded by manicured hedges and wild palmettos, the Jekyll Island Tennis Center is a public tennis facility featuring 13 Har-tru clay courts.

Biking

Bicycling has long been a favorite activity on Jekyll Island. With more than 24 miles of picturesque paths and trails, biking offers a scenic way to see all of the island’s hallmark points of interest.

District After Dusk

District After Dusk invites you to experience Pier Road in a whole new light! On the third Saturday of each month during the winter season, from 3-8 p.m., stroll the Historic District as the sun sets and The District Shops come alive with live music, food trucks, family-fun activities.

Island Treasures

In the early 1900s, east coast fishermen used hollow glass balls, or floats, on their nets as markers.

Miniature Golf

Located just across from the Atlantic Ocean and Great Dunes Park, Jekyll Island Mini Golf offers two courses, one for beginners and one for the more advanced. Enjoy one or both of these 18-hole courses, a guaranteed blast for the entire family!
